A cast and crew screening of The Last Pogo Jumps Again at the Projection Booth at 1035 Gerrard St. East was one of the of the most anticipated events of the Toronto punk scene.  The film was directed by Colin Brunton and Kire Paputts and is a comprehensive documentary about Toronto’s early punk scene from 1976 to 1978, running at just over 3 hours in length.  The film offers some remarkable interviews with original members from the scene mixed some amazing film footage and photographs from that time. Punks And Rockers was also involved in the project, providing a then and now edit of the Mods playing live at the Horseshoe tavern, cutting 1978 with 2006 footage.  The screening was a great event, reveling in the past with it’s warts and all.  It turned out to be a boisterous affair as emotions sometimes ran high, including cat calls and a “incident” or two in the parking lot…That’s punk rock, for ya!
